Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant / Accounting & Finance Manager, India

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Experience: 5-10 years

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced accounting & finance professional to manage the company's end-to-end accounting operations and India statutory compliances.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles and practices.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, payroll, PF, ESI, PT, and other statutory compliances.
• Working knowledge of FEMA and RBI requirements relating to foreign remittances.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Good understanding of financial statements and accounting processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to independently manage multiple accounting and compliance activities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to meet statutory and management reporting deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, employees, auditors, consultants, and management.

Educational Qualification:

Mandatory:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related field.

Preferred:

• CA / CMA / ACCA / MBA Finance or equivalent professional qualification.

Preferred Experience:

• Candidates with experience in any of the following environments will be preferred:
• IT Services / IT Staffing
• Software/technology companies
• Companies having foreign clients or overseas operations
• Companies handling foreign inward/outward remittances
• Multi-entity accounting environments
• Companies using QuickBooks or Zoho Books
