Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to record transactions and generate reports.
• Oversee financial management activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with attention to detail and compliance.
• Mentor junior team members by providing guidance on best practices in financial accounting and software usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and improve reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft.
• Strong understanding of financial services industry practices is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting, accounts payable, and general ledger management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience mentoring or training colleagues on accounting procedures or software tools.
• Knowledge of financial management principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.

Pay: £23,254.10-£57,034.66 per month
