Accountant

Abhikalpan Construction Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support financial and statutory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
• Record and verify purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, vouchers, debit/credit notes, and other accounting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Handle GST accounting, reconciliation, and return-related activities.
• Assist in TDS compliance, deductions, payments, and return preparation.
• Perform bank reconciliation and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, banks, and internal departments regarding accounting matters.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports and accounting statements as required by management.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting and compliance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience in accounting and finance operations.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting documentation.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in the construction/real estate industry, particularly in handling vendor accounts, contractor bills, purchase transactions, and project-related expenses, will be an advantage.
