Accountant

For our client, a stable international investment company, we are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge ofCAS and IFRS .

This role is ideal for an independent professional who is comfortable managing complex accounting processes, has experience with financial reporting and audit cooperation, and is eager to contribute to a dynamic international environment. We value analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across finance teams and with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage and maintain the accounting records of selected group companies.
• Ensure payroll accounting administration (salary calculation is not part of the role).
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and control statements.
• Prepare regular monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports .
• Prepare statutory financial statements and financial reporting for the parent company in accordance with Czech Accounting Standards (CAS) and IFRS .
• Collaborate closely with Controlling, FP&A, Treasury, and other finance teams.
• Actively participate in both external and internal audits.
• Communicate with banks, auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other external partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting.
• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Passion for accounting and commitment to continuous professional development.
• Professional proficiency in Czech and English .
• Experience working with SAP, CAS, IFRS
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel .
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
