Bareeq is a growing fashion jewelry and gold-plated accessories brand. We are expanding our business and looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage our day-to-day financial activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and financial records.
• Record and reconcile daily sales.
• Reconcile cash, card payments, bank transactions, and POS reports.
• Monitor and record expenses, purchases, invoices, and supplier payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
• Monitor inventory-related transactions and assist with stock reconciliation.
• Perform regular bank and cash reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT calculations, VAT returns, and UAE tax-related requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, payments, and supporting documents.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and supplier balances.
• Identify discrepancies or unusual transactions and report them to management.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
• Ensure all accounting records are accurate, organized, and up to date.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Accountant, preferably in retail, fashion, jewelry, accessories, or a similar business.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and accounting requirements.
• Experience with POS systems and sales reconciliation is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible with financial information.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Arabic and English communication skills are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
• Experience with UAE VAT filing and tax documentation.
• Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar.
• Previous experience working for a growing retail business.
• Available to join immediately.
