Accountant

We are looking for alist n Accountant to help manage day-to-day financial records and support the smooth running of our accounts. This role is suitable for someone with accounting experience, as well as someone with basic knowledge who is willing to learn and grow in the position.

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain financial transactions, invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank and account statements and help keep records accurate.
• Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end tasks.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments when needed.
• Maintain organised financial documents and support general accounting activities.
• Work with other team members to resolve basic accounting or payment issues.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of accounting or finance.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
• Comfortable using computers and learning accounting software.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Previous accounting experience is welcome but not required for the right candidate.
• Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
