What they need
- Accounting Operations: Oversees recording, classification, reconciliation, and maintenance of accounting records; reviews entries, schedules, and supporting documents; maintains the chart of accounts; and investigates discrepancies and unusual transactions.
- Technical Accounting & Controls: Provides technical accounting guidance and recommends accounting procedures, internal controls, and documentation standards.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, schedules, tax-related documents, and regulatory submissions while ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
- Audit Support: Coordinates with internal and external auditors, prepares audit schedules and supporting documents, and assists in resolving audit findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Supervision & Staff Development: Supervises Accounting Assistants, reviews their work, provides coaching and training, and participates in performance evaluations and personnel recommendations.
- Management Coordination: Communicates accounting and compliance matters to management, prepares required reports and updates, and leads staff meetings to ensure timely completion of accounting objectives.
