Jr. Accounts Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a Jr. Accounts Executive to support the Accounts & Finance team in a manufacturing environment. This role involves accounting operations, production tracking, inventory monitoring, walk-in customer billing, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Verify pricing, quantities, and discounts before invoicing.
• Maintain financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reconciliation.
• Handle bank reconciliations and daily cash/invoice reconciliation.
• Maintain stock registers for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Record daily production output and track material consumption.
• Identify variances in planned vs. actual material usage.
• Support monthly COGS calculations and product-wise costing.
• Coordinate with production and store teams to maintain accurate records.
• Assist senior team members during audits and month-end closing activities.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Tally and Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, inventory management, and costing concepts (COGS, Inventory Valuation, GAAP/Ind AS).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions.
