Accountant

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day company and project-wise accounts
• Handle purchase, sales, receipts, payments and journal entries
• Prepare and verify contractor/subcontractor bills and payments
• Maintain site expenses, cash & bank transactions
• Perform bank, vendor and ledger reconciliations
• Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliance
• Prepare TDS certificates, GST workings and related reports
• Maintain accounts for material purchases, suppliers and subcontractors
• Track outstanding payments and receivables
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and MIS reports
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, vendors, clients and project/site teams
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime & MS Excel
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS and accounting principles
• Experience in construction / civil contracting preferred
• Knowledge of project-wise accounting and contractor billing will be an advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
