Accountant

We are a growing D2C e-commerce company running multiple online brands on

Shopify. We are looking for an Accountant who can independently handle

day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, and e-commerce payment reconciliation.

This is a hands-on role. You will own the books, not just do data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily bookkeeping and entries in Tally / Zoho Books

• Reconcile Shopify orders against courier COD remittance statements

(Shiprocket / Delhivery / Bluedart) and payment gateway settlements

(Razorpay / PhonePe / Cashfree)

• Track and account for RTO (return to origin) orders, shipping charges,

COD fees and courier deductions

• Monthly GST working, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing coordination with our CA

• TDS working, challan payment and quarterly return coordination

• Vendor bill booking, payment scheduling and vendor ledger reconciliation

• Purchase entries, inventory value tracking and monthly stock reconciliation

• Bank reconciliation for all accounts

• Monthly P&L and expense summary reporting to management

Required:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (dropout or article completed also welcome)

• 2+ years of accounting experience (e-commerce or trading company preferred)

• Working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime

• Practical knowledge of GST returns and TDS

• Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets — VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters

• Able to work with large transaction volumes and spot mismatches

Preferred (not mandatory):

• Prior experience with Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart or Meesho seller accounts

• Experience handling COD business and courier reconciliation

• Zoho Books experience
