Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting activities, supporting payroll and statutory obligations, and providing timely financial reports to support effective business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, payments, and other financial transactions

• Prepare invoices, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments

• Manage accounts payable and ensure proper documentation of vendor and operational expenses

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash and petty cash records

• Support payroll preparation and maintain relevant payroll documentation

• Prepare monthly financial reports, expense reports, and account reconciliations

• Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning

• Maintain proper documentation for tax, statutory, and audit requirements

• Ensure financial transactions comply with internal policies and established accounting procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum of 2–4 years relevant accounting experience

• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and payroll processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software

• Knowledge of Nigerian tax and statutory compliance requirements

• ICAN, ACCA, ATS, or other relevant professional certification is an added advantage

Salary

• NGN 150,000 – 200,000 Monthly

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lagos (Lagos)
