Job Description – Accounts Manager

Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accounts Manager to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, taxation, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and excellent practical knowledge of Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete day-to-day accounting operations.
• Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Handle Tally Prime for accounting entries, sales and purchase entries, invoicing, payments, receipts, and ledger management.
• Prepare and maintain GST, TDS, and other statutory records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Monitor customer and vendor outstanding balances.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and accounting summaries.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, banks, auditors, and internal departments.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
• Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documents and records.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting policies.
• Coordinate with management for accounting, financial, and reporting requirements.
• Identify accounting errors and ensure timely correction.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, taxation, and bank reconciliation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to independently handle accounting activities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The candidate should be responsible, reliable, well-organized, and proactive, with the ability to independently manage accounting operations and communicate effectively with management, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Candidates with experience in handling complete accounts independently and working directly with management will be preferred.
