About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our Kolkata team. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and supporting audit and compliance activities for domestic and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts.
• Record purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, debit/credit notes, and supporting documents.
• Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and year-end accounts.
• Coordinate with clients for accounting records and required documents.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records.
• Work on accounting software such as Tally and ERP systems.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related activities assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
• 1–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience working in a CA firm, audit firm, or accounting consultancy.
• Experience with international clients will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP/SAP will be an added advantage.
• Candidates willing to work with international accounting and compliance assignments are preferred.
