Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities

* Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and expenses.

* Handle Accounts Receivable & Payable, customer collections and supplier payments.

* Perform regular bank, cash, customer and supplier reconciliations.

* Verify invoices, payments and supporting documents before processing transactions.

* Manage accounting for imports, exports, shipments and inventory/landed costs.

* Maintain records of commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading and shipping documents.

* Handle UAE VAT records, VAT returns and audit documentation.

* Manage foreign-currency transactions and exchange-rate adjustments.

* Assist with LCs, documentary collections and shipment-related banking transactions.

* Prepare ageing reports, monthly accounts, P&L and other management reports.

Requirements

* 1+ years UAE accounting experience,

* Strong knowledge of AR/AP, inventory accounting and reconciliations.

* Good understanding of UAE VAT.

* Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.

* Experience with import/export, shipping and LC documentation.

* Good English/Hindi,Arabic (prefrable) strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
