Accountant

Urgent Experience Accountant (Zoho) Hiring for Immediate Joining:

● To Coordinate and monitor import shipments from suppliers, following up on shipment status, ETA/ETD, container bookings, delivery schedules, and clearance requirements.

● Liaise with suppliers, couriers, freight forwarders, warehouse personnel, and delivery drivers to coordinate shipment and delivery activities and resolve delays or issues.

● To Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to confirm vessel schedules and container bookings, ensuring cargo readiness ahead of loading and delivery deadlines.

● To Track shipment status end-to-end and proactively flag potential delays to management and customers, recommend corrective action to keep deliveries on schedule.

● To Prepare, review, and maintain shipment documentation including packing lists, commercial invoices, and delivery notes, and support container clearance processes and submissions through the Dubai Trade portal.

● To Manage the submission of commercial invoices for attestation through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to support shipment clearance and documentation requirements.

● To Check shipment quantities against purchase orders and follow up on discrepancies, returns, or replacements; monitor inventory and stock movements and support reconciliation between physical stock and Accounting records.

● To Manage full-cycle accounting operations — General Ledger, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payments, and receipts — using Zoho Book and Tally ERP Prime, including sales/purchase transactions and supplier/customer account records tied to shipment and logistics activity.

● To Perform bank reconciliations and prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation for annual external audits, coordinating directly with External auditors.

● To Process monthly payroll and WPS/SIF submissions, and prepare and file UAE VAT returns with the required supporting documentation.

● To Support e-commerce platform operations by monitoring online orders, coordinating order processing, updating product listings, and recording related transactions.

● To Coordinate with suppliers, customers, External Auditor, insurance providers, and government/free zone authorities on logistics, shipment, and administrative matters.

● To Handle employee and company insurance renewals, tenancy contract renewals, and visa/trade license renewals for an affiliated Free Zone and Mainland company.
