Accountant

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow statements

Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Manage TDS, GST, ITR, ESIC, and PF calculations

Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits

Process invoices, expense statements, and vendor payments

Maintain proper documentation and accounting records

Support management with financial data and reports as required

Manage payroll processing using payroll software or Excel

Handle accounting and compliance for international clients/companies

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Commerce (B. Com) or related field

1-2 years of proven experience as an Accountant

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Experience with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar)

Good knowledge of MS Excel

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information
