Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Fee Management: Handle student fee billing, process collections, track payments, and reconcile accounts receivable.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain general ledgers, journal entries, vouchers, and daily financial records using school ERP or accounting software like Tally.
• Payroll & Expenses: Process staff payroll, manage accounts payable, and track vendor or operational expenses.
• Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank and credit reconciliations to ensure cash flow accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports, and coordinate with external auditors.
• Compliance: Ensure financial transactions comply with institutional policies, tax regulations, and statutory filings
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting/Finance.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of general accounting experience, ideally within a school or educational setting.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally, or specialized school accounting ERP systems.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, high accuracy, and effective communication with staff and parents

Pay: ₹8,587.43 - ₹20,000.00 per month
