Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company’s financial records and day-to-day accounting operations. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting entries.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoices, payments, receipts, and collections.
• Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payroll records.
• Prepare and maintain P&L statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Perform bank, account, and ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
• Monitor financial transactions and analyze financial information to support management decision-making.
• Prepare invoices, payment documents, and other accounting-related records.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist with tax-related documentation and reporting as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial controls.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to gather and analyze financial information.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all financial and company information.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, AP/AR, payroll, and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skill
