The Accountant will manage financial operations, ensure accurate recording of transactions, support budgeting, and maintain compliance with UAE financial regulations. This role is essential for supporting the company’s logistics operations, high-volume daily transactions, and merchant settlements. Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting Record daily financial transactions including delivery revenues, merchant settlements, and operational expenses. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconcile bank accounts, merchant accounts, and digital payment channels. Billing & Collections Generate invoices for merchants and corporate clients. Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments. Ensure accurate calculation of delivery fees, commissions, and service charges. Cost & Expense Management Monitor delivery-related expenses (fuel, fleet maintenance, rider payments). Analyze cost trends and propose cost‑saving measures. Maintain petty cash and ensure proper documentation. Compliance & Audit Support Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns. Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation. Maintain proper financial records in line with company policies. Systems & Process Management Work with operations teams to ensure accurate data flow from delivery systems to accounting software. Improve financial processes to support high-volume daily transactions. Payroll & Rider Payments Prepare monthly payroll for staff and delivery riders. Ensure timely disbursement and proper documentation of incentives and overtime.
