Job Description

Fruitify is a fresh fruit and floral gifting company seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounts, maintain accurate financial records and help monitor business profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily sales, purchases, expenses and payments.
• Reconcile bank accounts, cash transactions and online payment settlements.
• Track payouts, commissions and refunds from delivery platforms and online sales channels.
• Manage supplier payments, customer invoices and outstanding balances.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss reports and cash flow summaries.
• Monitor product costs, inventory records and profit margins.
• Maintain payroll records and supporting financial documents.
• Assist with VAT records, returns and coordination with external tax advisers.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Previous accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks or Tally.
• Understanding of UAE VAT and bookkeeping practices.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and confidentiality.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce or food businesses is an advantage.
