Job Description – School Accountant
Position: Accountant – School
Department: Finance & Administration
Reports To: Chief School Officer / School Management
Location: IYRA International School, Bengaluru
School Accountant – Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily school accounts and financial records.
- Manage student fee collection, receipts and outstanding fees.
- Prepare daily/monthly fee collection reports.
- Maintain cash book, ledgers, vouchers and invoices.
- Process vendor bills and payment requests.
- Assist with monthly salary and payroll processing.
- Handle TDS, GST, PF, ESI and other applicable compliance.
- Prepare monthly income and expenditure reports.
- Coordinate with the school’s CA/auditor.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
Qualification: B.Com/M.Com or equivalent
Experience: 1-2 years, preferably in a school/educational institution , Freshers can also Apply.
Skills: Tally/accounting software, MS Excel, GST/TDS knowledge, accuracy and good communication.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
