Accountant

Senior Accountant – Textile Manufacturing

Varni Group is a growing textile manufacturing group looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle day-to-day accounting, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliation.

* Manage GST, TDS, TCS and other statutory compliances.

* Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.

* Handle accounts payable, receivable, purchase and sales accounting.

* Monitor outstanding receivables/payables and follow up for timely settlements.

* Manage inventory and textile production-related accounting and stock reconciliation.

* Assist in monthly/annual closing and finalization of accounts.

* Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and statutory authorities.

* Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with accounting policies.

* Support management with financial analysis and costing-related reports.

Requirements:

* 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in textile/manufacturing industry.

* Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and finalization of accounts.

* Good understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to independently handle accounting functions.

* Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent.
