Accountant

About the role

The Sector Accountant is responsible for developing and documenting efficient policies, procedures and controls for consistent resolution of finance-related issues across all sector accounting areas. The role directly reports to the Asset Monitoring and Sector Accounting Controls Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document efficient policies, procedures and controls for consistent resolution of finance-related issues across all sector accounting areas
• Maintain account information and financial data for residential customers' cash advance and contribution in aid of construction
• Prepare reports for internal and external reporting
• Monitor completed projects and timely settlement to final assets or cost center
• Prepare user requirement document for system enhancements
• Monitor the handling of incident reports
• Handle inquiries and data requirements
• Assist in monitoring of KPI to evaluate staff productivity
• Monitor system metrics to ensure that optimal effort and volume capacities are met

About you

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• 1 year of experience in Accounting and Finance (newly licensed accountants are open to apply)
• Preferably with experience in SAP-ERP
• Strong personal computer and business solution software skills, including advanced Excel skills
• Excellent business communication skills
