Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with strong hands-on expertise in ERP systems. In this role, you will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reconciliations, AP/AR processes, and tax compliance directly within our ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• ERP Accounting: Execute end-to-end accounting entries, general ledger adjustments, and chart of accounts maintenance inside the ERP system.
• AP / AR Management: Handle purchase orders (POs), perform 3-way matching (PO, receipt, vendor bill), issue customer invoices, and monitor aging receivables.
• Reconciliations: Conduct monthly bank, payment gateway, petty cash, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Inventory Accounting: Monitor inventory movements, reconcile physical stock with ERP valuation, and record accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and verify records for UAE VAT returns and ensure alignment with UAE Corporate Tax standards.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow forecasts.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–4 years of proven accounting experience in the UAE.
• ERP Expertise (Mandatory): Hands-on experience working with ERP platforms such as Odoo, Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Zoho One.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling).
• Compliance Knowledge: Practical understanding of UAE VAT regulations and FTA filing requirements.
• Certifications: ACCA, CA, or CMA (in progress or completed) is an added advantage.
