Accountant

Designation: Accountant

Employment: Full time. Place of work: R602, Remi Bizcourt, Veera Desai Road, Andheri West, 400053. Reports to management. Coordinates with the appointed CA.

Role

Own day-to-day accounting, documentation, payroll, GST returns, TDS returns, and related workings for the company. Keep books, files, and statutory filings current and ready for review.

Key responsibilities

Accounting

• Maintain books covering purchases, sales, expenses, cash, bank, and journals.
• Complete month-end close, including accruals and provisions.
• Reconcile bank, vendors, customers, and GST input tax credit.
• Support year-end statements and audit papers with the CA.

Documentation

• File invoices, bills, vouchers, contracts, bank statements, and statutory papers.
• Keep records complete and available for internal review, GST, TDS, and audit.

Payroll

• Process monthly payroll, including reimbursements and statutory deductions.
• Maintain the salary register.
• Handle PF, ESIC, and professional tax as applicable, including related workings. Filing part is outsourced to consultants.

GST

• Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B within due dates.
• Prepare annual GST return workings and track ITC, reverse charge, and notices.
• Handle e-invoice and e-way bill where applicable.

TDS

• Deduct TDS, deposit challans, and file 24Q, 26Q, and 27Q as applicable.
• Issue Form 16 and Form 16A.

Workings

• Prepare monthly workings for GST, TDS, payroll, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Keep a working file ready for the CA and for management review.

Qualification and experience

• B.Com, M.Com, or CA Intermediate.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years in accounting with GST and TDS filing, or CA articleship with return filing.
• Working knowledge of Tally or equivalent, Excel, GST portal, and TRACES.

Engagement

Accounting for Redfox Cyber Security Private Limited is outsourced to Meit Associates, Chartered Accountants. The employee shall be on the payroll of Meit Associates and shall work full time at Redfox at the address above.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
