Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with 4- 5 years of relevant experience to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, and reconciliation activities. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely compliance, and supporting the organization's financial management activities

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including journal entries, purchase, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage GST and TDS-related activities, including reconciliation, documentation, and compliance support.
• Assist in monthly and annual financial closing and prepare financial statements and MIS reports.
• Maintain accurate records of expenses, reimbursements, advances, and other financial transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, clients, and internal teams for accounting and finance related requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities while maintaining proper documentation and confidentiality.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.

• Good knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and other commonly used formulas.

Experience with Zoho or other accounting software/ERP systems
