Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting day-to-day financial operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial documentation.
• Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, payments, expenses, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payroll-related accounting activities when required.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on pending payments.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial records and documentation.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving financial issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of relevant tax and financial regulations is an advantage.
