Urgent Hiring: Accountant – Food & Beverage Division (Bahrain)

About the Role

We are urgently seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Food & Beverage division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in F&B accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed F&B inventory records.
• Reconcile monthly inventory reports and perform cost of sales calculations.
• Prepare facility financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile general ledger account activity, including A/R and A/P control accounts.
• Assist clerks with coding receipts and disbursements into the general ledger.
• Maintain cash balance records and reconcile cash receipts/disbursements.
• Account for facility transactions and input event journal entries.
• Perform monthly account analysis and prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Coordinate internal and external audits of F&B financial records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Nationality: Bahraini candidates are preferred.
