About the Role

Elfono Solutions is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the company's financial and compliance-related operations.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally, accounting processes, GST, invoicing, reconciliations, and MS Excel, along with good computer skills and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Handle purchase, sales, expense and journal entries in Tally.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain proper records of receipts, payments and outstanding balances.
• Assist in GST-related accounting and documentation.
• Coordinate for GST, TDS and other statutory compliance-related requirements.
• Verify invoices, supporting documents and accounting entries.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Prepare basic MIS reports, expense statements and account summaries.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial data.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors and clients regarding accounting and payment-related matters.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Strong practical knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing and reconciliation.
• Good computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Candidates should be comfortable handling confidential financial information.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have a Commerce/Finance background, such as:

• B.Com
• M.Com
• MBA – Finance
• Equivalent qualification with relevant accounting experience.

Preferred Candidate

• Well-versed with practical accounting operations.
• Comfortable working on Tally and Excel.
