Accountant

Mahawar General Contracting Company LLC is looking to hire an experienced Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.

Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Monitor supplier and subcontractor payments.

Prepare customer statements and follow up on outstanding payments.

Perform bank and cash reconciliations.

Manage petty cash and project-related expenses.

Maintain project-wise cost records and assist with cost control.

Assist in payroll preparation and employee-related payments.

Prepare VAT records and support UAE VAT return submissions.

Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, P&L statements, and cash-flow reports.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reviews.

Coordinate with management, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams regarding financial matters.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.

Previous experience in a UAE construction or contracting company is preferred.

Good knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting procedures.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Experience with project costing, supplier accounts, subcontractor payments, and receivables is an advantage.

Good communication skills in English.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Immediate availability is preferred.
