About the Role

Aum Buildcon is looking for a Accountant with 23 years of relevant experience to support the company's day-to-day accounting and financial record-keeping activities.

The ideal candidate should have good practical knowledge of Tally and MS-CIT, along with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. The candidate should be detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable handling routine accounting activities independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries in Tally.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Verify bills and supporting documents before accounting entries.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Assist with bank and ledger reconciliation.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable records.
• Assist in preparing basic accounting reports and statements.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding bills, payments, and documentation.
• Identify discrepancies in accounting records and report them to the senior accounts team.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other accounting/compliance-related work as required.
• Support the senior accountant in monthly closing and routine accounting activities.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com or Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 23 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good practical knowledge of Tally is mandatory.
• MS-CIT certification / good computer knowledge required.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in accounting work.
