Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting management with accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank, ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain schedules for fixed assets, accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records and supporting documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Support management with financial analysis and accounting-related decision-making.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA/CPA/ACCA qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• 4–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of taxation and statutory compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
