Accountant

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in the transport and logistics industry. The candidate should have strong calculation skills, good knowledge of accounting software, and the ability to manage bills, bank transactions, truck documents, and day-to-day accounting activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Check and verify transport bills, purchase bills, expenses, and supporting documents accurately.
• Maintain accounts using Tally and transport/logistics software.
• Track trucks and maintain records of truck movement, expenses, and related transactions.
• Regularly check and reconcile bank statements and transactions.
• Maintain proper records of receivables, payables, expenses, and other financial entries.
• Prepare and send professional emails and WhatsApp Business messages to clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist with ITR, LIC-related work, CA coordination, and other compliance/accounting requirements.
• Coordinate with the CA and other financial professionals whenever required.
• Maintain and regularly update all truck and vehicle-related documents, including RC, insurance, PUC, permits, fitness certificates, tax documents, etc.
• Ensure documents are valid and renewed before expiry.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting and vehicle records.
• Perform calculations accurately and identify discrepancies in bills or transactions.

Preferred Candidate

The ideal candidate should be honest, organized, responsible, and highly detail-oriented, with the ability to independently manage accounting work as well as coordinate with transport operations, banks, clients, vendors, and the CA.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors in bills and accounts.
• Excellent calculation and numerical skills.
• Good working knowledge of Tally.
• Experience with transport/logistics software is preferred.
• Good knowledge of bank statements and bank reconciliation.
• Basic to good knowledge of ITR, LIC and CA-related work.
• Good MS Excel and computer skills.
• Ability to write professional emails and WhatsApp Business messages.
• Good communication skills in Hindi, English, and Marathi.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the transportation industry and truck documentation will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
