Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries for sales, purchases, expenses, and receipts
• Handle billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups with customers and vendors
• Reconcile bank statements, cash transactions, and ledgers regularly
• Manage GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements and financial reports for management review
• Track and maintain records for vehicle stock, spare parts, and workshop billing
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and dealership management when required
• Monitor outstanding payments and support the sales team in finance documentation
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records
• Support payroll processing and staff reimbursement records if required

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Com / M.Com / Accounting-related degree preferred
• 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an automobile dealership or retail business
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation rules
• Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel
• Good understanding of dealership billing and inventory accounting is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work onsite in Jayankondam, Ariyalur District
