Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced accountant with at least 10 years of accounting experience, expert knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks, and a strong understanding of the construction service industry.

The ideal candidate can manage accurate financial records, track job costs, and provide clear financial reporting for service and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Track project budgets, job costs, and profitability.
• Manage progress billing, retainage, and subcontractor payments.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Coordinate with our tax professional and support year-end reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of accounting experience.
• Expert proficiency in Intuit QuickBooks.
• Construction accounting experience, including job costing and progress billing.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Accounting degree or CPA designation preferred.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
