About the Role:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Process invoices, payments, issue statements and expense claims promptly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Handle customer and supplier inquiries related to billing, payments, and account balances and records in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring swift resolution.
• Reconcile OEM payments and warranty claims.
• Stay updated on industry-related financial regulations and best practices, implementing necessary changes for compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Sales, Service, and Parts departments to reconcile vehicle sales, Parts and service records and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, reports, and schedules.
• Provide general administrative assistance and coverage during periods of leave.

About you:

• Proven dealership experience as an accountant
• Tertiary qualification ideal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent knowledge of financial software and MS Office applications, with proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
