We also provide extensive nonattest services such as bookkeeping and payroll. The firm has office locations in Blacksburg and Radford, VA.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for bookkeeping and payroll processing, as well as preparing individual and business tax returns. Your attention to detail and expertise in these areas will be vital in providing our clients with accurate and timely financial services. You must be able to work independently and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping services for monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping clients. Including posting transactions, performing bank reconciliations, posting adjusting journal entries, etc.
• Process payroll for clients, including calculating wages, taxes, and deductions.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax reports for clients.
• Prepare individual and business tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide exceptional client service.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize client benefits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in accounting. Or commensurate work experience. Previous bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation experience preferred.
• Minimum of [2] years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks.
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial work.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
