WE ARE HIRING – ACCOUNTANT

Zone 24 Properties is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in accounting, VAT filing, Corporate Tax compliance, and a good understanding of UAE taxation regulations.

Position: Accountant

Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 2,000 – AED 2,500 per month
Experience: Previous UAE accounting experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date company accounts and financial records.
• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments and expenses.
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure proper VAT compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements.
• Maintain proper VAT documentation and supporting records.
• Assist with Corporate Tax registration, calculations, returns and compliance as applicable.
• Ensure accounting records and tax filings comply with applicable UAE tax laws and FTA regulations.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents and returns.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Coordinate with management, auditors, banks and external tax consultants when required.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax assessments.
• Assist management with financial analysis and other accounting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within the real estate industry.
• Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and VAT return filing.
• Good understanding of UAE Corporate Tax and related compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) procedures and EmaraTax is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Good Excel and accounting software skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet tax and financial reporting deadlines.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Candidates with hands-on experience in VAT filing, Corporate Tax compliance, UAE accounting regulations and real estate accounting will be preferred.

Salary

AED 2,000 – AED 2,500 per month, depending on experience and skills.
