Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, vendor/customer reconciliation, GST/TDS compliance support, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with Tally/ERP and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain books of accounts.
• Manage Purchase, Sales, Receipt, Payment and Journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, customer and vendor ledgers.
• Prepare and verify invoices, debit notes and credit notes.
• Perform regular vendor and customer reconciliation.
• Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance and coordinate with consultants.
• Maintain proper records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Track outstanding payments and receivables and prepare ageing reports.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of MIS reports.
• Support preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and other financial statements.
• Verify expenses, supporting documents and employee reimbursement claims.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers and auditors.
• Assist during internal, statutory and tax audits.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them on time.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related activities as assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP accounting software.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel – VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, etc.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, fashion, apparel, retail or e-commerce will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• Immediate joiner or short notice period preferred.
• Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.
• Should have a responsible and ownership-oriented approach towards accounting activities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
