Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions, journal entries, and general ledger accounts.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents and records.
• Assist with VAT calculations, VAT return preparation, and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and other departments as required.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
