Job Description – Accountant

Job Type : Full-Time, Work from Office
Working Hours : 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
**Location :**Mohali, Punjab.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good numerical skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain sales and purchase invoices.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Assist in GST calculations, GST returns, and TDS-related work.
• Maintain vouchers, bills, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly reports.
• Manage petty cash and record daily expenses.
• Perform data entry and maintain accounting records using Tally or other accounting software.
• Assist with month-end closing and audit documentation.
• Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), or a relevant accounting qualification.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial entries.
• Familiarity with Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation.
• Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Experience

• Freshers with basic accounting knowledge can apply.
• Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in accounting will be preferred.
• Salary as per experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
