Job summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records and day-to-day accounting activities.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment documents
• Monitor income, expenses, and company payments
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records
• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with payroll and staff payments
• Keep proper records of financial documents
• Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements:

• HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous accounting experience is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of accounting software is an advantage (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
• Proximity to Choba/Rumuji is an advantage
