Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, GST, TDS, and taxation. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and vendor/customer reconciliations.
• Manage GST returns, TDS calculations, deductions, and filings.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, journal entries, and ledger accounts.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Maintain general ledger and prepare trial balance.
• Support the preparation of profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and statutory records.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic income tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Experience with invoicing, ledger maintenance, and general accounting.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience with GST return filing and TDS returns.
• Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
• Experience in handling audits and statutory compliance.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-way bills.
