Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor post-dated cheques (PDCs), including tracking, documentation, and follow-ups.
• Prepare and issue manual Statements of Account (SOAs) through VBEN, as required.
• Handle and resolve accounts receivable (AR)-related queries from customers and internal teams.
• Process and verify link payments and cryptocurrency payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct first-level verification of resale transactions and title deed documentation.
• Prepare and raise invoices for other charges, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance, Treasury, Collections, Legal, and other relevant departments to resolve accounting and payment-related matters.
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, payment transactions, and supporting documents.
• Monitor outstanding items and follow up on pending payments, documentation, and account discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or a similar role is preferred.
• Real estate accounting experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PDC handling, customer account reconciliations, SOA preparation, and invoicing.
• Familiarity with VBEN or similar accounting/ERP systems is preferred.
• Good understanding of payment verification and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Pay: AED1.00 per month
