Accountant

We are assisting a client in their search for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our accounting team. Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Enter and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and deposits
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Review financial records for accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain organized and confidential financial documentation
• Assist with financial reporting and basic accounting analysis
• Respond to vendor and internal questions regarding accounting transactions
• Support the accounting team with various administrative and financial tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Recent graduates and candidates with internship or relevant coursework are encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with accounting software is a plus
