Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, FA, and MIS reporting.
• Handle petty cash, prepare invoices and receipts.
• Prepare cheques and bank transfers along with supplier statements and reconciliation.
• Conduct month-end / annual closing of the books and monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance of Tax (VAT/Excise), filing of Tax (VAT/Excise) returns within timeline.
• Coordinate with different business units within the group, to ensure timely intercompany reconciliations and invoicing of intercompany transactions.
• Support all internal departments in finance related queries providing relevant data and information when required.
• Able to perform HR related works like payroll (WPS), gratuity, leave calculations etc.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-4 years UAE experience
• Graduation in Accounts or professional certification
• Having hands-on experience in Tally & Excel.
