Accountant

Job Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage and maintain the financial records of our college. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, managing fees collection, and ensuring compliance with institutional and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Manage student fee collection, receipts, refunds, and related entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle payroll, staff reimbursements, and vendor payments.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and prepare variance reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Assist in financial planning, cost control, and MIS reporting for management.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (M.Com/CA Inter preferred).
• Proven work experience in accounting (experience in educational institutions will be an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with statutory compliances like GST, TDS, PF, etc.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Pay: ₹8,551.84 - ₹15,000.00 per month
