Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team in Coimbatore . The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate bookkeeping records, and support statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Ledger Management: Maintain day-to-day accounts, general ledger entries, cash flow tracking, and bank reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Process vendor invoices, handle customer billings, follow up on pending payments, and track receivables.
• Taxation & Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Payroll Support: Assist with monthly payroll processing and employee expense verification.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare daily/monthly MIS reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements for management review.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master’s in Commerce (M.Com) / CA Inter / MBA (Finance).
• Experience: [2–4 years] of proven experience in accounting or finance (adjust based on your seniority needs).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime / ERP / Zoho Books / SAP .
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Good understanding of Indian GST laws and TDS regulations. [1]
• Location: Must be based in or able to commute regularly to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu . [1]
