Accountant

Job summery

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and maintain the general ledger, cash book, bank book, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in preparing budgets, cash flow statements, and financial reports.
• Handle GST returns, TDS compliance, and other statutory filings, as applicable.
• Maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and other financial documents.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers and suppliers.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with company policies.
• Perform other accounting duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or similar systems.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance is an advantage.

Experience

Knowledge of tally compulsory

Salary

As per company standards and the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
