Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, month-end closing and financial reporting, ensuring all reports are accurate and submitted on time
• Guide, lead and supervise the accounts team to ensure work efficiency, accuracy and timely completion of tasks
• Prepare financial forecast, budgets and Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis to support management planning and decision-making
• Monitor financial matters, cash flow, working capital and payment commitments
• Support P&L preparation through product costing, cost analysis, variance monitoring and cost-control activities
• Prepare management reports and monitor financial and operational performance
• Handle credit control, outstanding receivables and other financial matters
• Undertake ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or an equivalent professional qualification
• Knowledge of full-set accounts, costing, inventory control, budgeting and cash flow management
• E-Invoice knowledge preferrable
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially formulas, data analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide meaningful insights to facilitate decision-making
• Responsible, organized and able to work independently under tight deadlines
• Willing to learn, adapt to changes and continuously improve work processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
